Color is mixed to your vehicle's paint code and then blended into the panels around the repair rather than stopping at a hard edge. That blend is what keeps a repaired quarter panel from reading as slightly-off against the door next to it, especially on metallics and pearls where the flake orientation shifts with the spray pattern.
Finished panels are baked in the booth rather than left to air-dry, so the vehicle leaves fully cured instead of soft.
